Minor Amendment To 2006 Approved East Glenn Dale Sector Plan
A Joint Public Hearing on the Proposed Minor Amendment (CR-99-2017) to the 2006 Approved Sector Plan for the East Glenn Dale Area was held on February 6, 2018. Over 50 people attended to hear staff's presentation, and view the exhibits of which 7 stakeholders provided oral testimony to the District Council and Planning Board. Written testimony and/or exhibits will continue to be accepted in lieu of, or in addition to, oral testimony. To be accepted into the record, written testimony or comments must be original, signed documents. Emails or faxes will not be considered unless followed by an original. Mail all written testimony and other comments to: Clerk of the Council, County Administration Building, Room 2198, 14741 Governor Oden Bowie Drive, Upper Marlboro, Maryland 20772. Submit all comments prior to the close of business on Tuesday, February 21, 2018, when the Public hearing record will close.
Planning Board Worksession
The Planning Board will hold a worksession on March 1, 2018 at the CAB Council Hearing Room (time TBD, check the agenda here)
On November 14, 2017, the District Council adopted Council Resolution CR-99-2017, initiating a minor amendment to the 2006 Approved Sector Plan for East Glenn Dale Area. It proposes to repeal certain obsolete land use and policies for the physical development of a portion of the comprehensive plan area known as ‘The Area Between Prospect Hill Road and Daisy Lane’.
