Administrative Services

The Administrator is primarily responsible for the management and supervision of all the day-to-day functions and operations of the ERS and implements Board policies and procedures. The Administrator reports to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees. The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Administrator and the Board of Trustees; prepares payroll; processes the accounts payable for the ERS; and, administers the ERS' website.

Member Relations

The Member Relations Team is responsible for the administration of all member related functions that include: performing estimate calculations; final retirement benefits, vested retirement benefits, and annuity step-downs; counseling members one-on-one and in group format; setting up benefit payments; maintaining the member database; conducting a new hire orientation; processing retirement and survivor annuities and payments to beneficiaries; setting up withdrawal payments; and, reviewing personnel action forms for employment status changes and salary type changes.

Technical Services


The Accounting Manager is responsible for the maintenance of all accounting records and the general ledger; preparation of quarterly financial statements; preparation of fiscal year end schedules and statements; projection of cash flow; and reconciliation of bank statements and coordination of the annual audit.
